It is important to distinguish between short-term stress (not too bad) and long-term stress (dangerous). The long-term stress can weaken your immune system and open the door to diseases. But it does not always have to be stress that makes people ill. Another problem is that refined and processed foods can be altered to cause massive health problems. Nutrients are lost in the processing, additional ingredients can be added, which aren’t food and aren’t healthy. Heavily processed foods often include unhealthy levels of added sugar, sodium and fat. These ingredients make the food we eat taste better, but too much of them leads to serious health issues.

What to expect from our Health Coaching?
Some people do very brief coaching — even one session, whereas others may participate in coaching for months or years, for something like managing weight, diabetes, depression, or after care. Instead of rooting around for problems to dwell on, we will work with you to harness your strengths, in order to improve the health behaviors you want to address.
